RA\G presents Supersymmetry, a group exhibition curated by Alina Khalitova, on view from September 10 through November 5, 2026. The exhibition brings together ten artists, a significant number of whom are based in the Bronx, in a space where architecture, contemporary art, and the local community meet.

Featuring works by Brigitte Bentele, Shawne Cooper, Dionisio Cortes Ortega, Zemfira Mazukabzova, Sohhee Oh, Manas Ranjan, Julie Schaffer, Precious Utobunwa, Mauricio Cortes Ortega, and Kim White.

The title borrows from theoretical physics, where each fundamental particle is understood to have an unseen counterpart. Here, the principle is transposed into visual art and architectural space. Symmetry, perhaps the most elemental concept in the history of the built environment, becomes both a formal constraint and a conceptual starting point. Each artist takes this architectural idea and works through it in their own way, arriving at responses that range from reflection to tension, structure to gesture.

Khalitova, founder of the curatorial platform Artmetod, has built her practice around the continued relevance of traditional and observational painting, approaches that are steadily regaining ground. For this exhibition, she selected artists who combine technical skill with conceptual clarity.
